Money is a Necessity

Hello All,

I come to you today with a heavy heart. This is not the most exciting subject to write to you about. However, it is very necessary. Money is a necessity. In order to function, we must have funding as any other operating business does, and currently we are struggling a great deal.

The struggle comes from the fact that we are a nonprofit that does not have a steady flow of income from selling products or services. While we do have a spectacular family of supporters, with most having been with us since the very beginning, we are in desperate need of more and steady financial support in order to continue on with what we are doing.

We continue to remind ourselves of how amazing it is that God continues to bless us in this line of work. There are countless blessings every day at More Than Conquerors, and we would never discount the mighty ways He moves in this organization. All of these incredible things just show us more and more how important it is that we continue doing what we are doing, which is what God has called us to. He wants us to empower His people! He wants us to lift them up, give them a safe place to learn and grow in His Word and ways, and shed His light and love upon everyone we can. We are more than willing to do this, but we will not be able to continue in it without the necessary funding to keep More Than Conquerors going.

As I sit here and type this, I am brought to tears. I stopped to look at all the notes, drawings, and verses from kids, parents, other leaders, and supporters that are draped across my wall above my desk. I cannot imagine abandoning all of those that are being impacted by MTC and those that have yet to have the chance to be. Our work for the Lord is not done in this community, and we will not give up.

First of all, to those of you who are currently supporting us financially, we cannot thank you enough for your belief in our mission, in our efforts, and in us. We hope that you will find it in your hearts to continue to faithfully support us.

For those of you who have not yet partnered with us, this is our plea for your help. Whether you are able to give $5 a month or $50 a month, any amount given from the heart is greatly appreciated. Every contribution helps More Than Conquerors complete our God-given mission to provide safe places to empower generations. We promise to be good stewards of your generous gifts.

Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
