WE COme. We Play.
WE CONQUER.
MTC AFTER-SCHOOL
At More Than Conquerors we are providing safe places to empower generations.
We run our free after-school program for grades 4th-8th in
South Madison Community School Corporation schools.
We are a faith based program unaffiliated with the school system, but we welcome all to attend with or without religious background.
We won't push our beliefs on the kids, but we do provide opportunities to learn about Jesus and His love for every one of us.
Our program is for all 4th-8th graders, Mondays through Thursdays. Middle schoolers leave to walk to the Intermediate building at 3pm, and we care for all students until 6pm at Pendleton Elementary Intermediate School.
You need to register your student once per school year even if your student has been to MTC before. We may close registration to keep our attendance at a safe and manageable amount.
We start immediately after the dismissal bell rings at the schools.
LEARN MORE
Intermediate program is for 4th-6th graders and is held from
3:25pm-6pm at the Pendleton Elementary Intermediate School,
Mondays through Thursdays.
Pendleton Elementary students report to the Auxilary Gym after school. Fourth grade students walk over from the main elementary building with the group of students who walk home.
We provide transportation to program for students from East and Maple Ridge elementaries. You can let your school's office or teacher know your kid will be going, but you don't have to.
East and Maple Ridge parents please text/call/email Caitlin
by 2pm the day of program your student will attend.
Students go the usual assigned parent pick-up areas the school provides. We also have a very large MTC emblazoned van.
The General Daily Schedule starts about 3:25pm:
3:25-3:40 -- Free Time/Announcements/Prayer
3:40-4:15 -- Game/Group Activity Time
4:15-4:30 -- Snack Time & Bathroom/Drink Break
4:30-5:00 -- Lesson/Discussion Time/Circle Prayer
5:00-6:00 -- Homework/Study Time
You can find our program rules here. Our discipline system is giving push-ups. Kids are told the rules and culture of MTC, and we have found having a simple activity-based discipline helps them refocus. We do not allow phones out during activities. We ask for parents to come inside to pick-up students.
The program ends at 6:00pm, and all guardians are expected to pick up their students at the Pendleton Intermediate by the time program ends.
The doors closest to the cafeteria unlock at 4pm. Before then only the front door is open. Early pick up is no problem. You only need to register your student once per school year.
Our primary method of communication for general program updates/scheduling will be this site and email.
This year we ask for you to contact us to check if we have space to keep our adult to child ratio safe. Call/text/email Caitlin - 765 620 9033
